4.UNTIED FUNDS FOR SUB-CENTRES.
Under NRHM, Untied Funds provide each Sub-center with Rs. 10,000/- to facilitate meeting urgent yet discrete activities that needs small sums of money like: drug supplies, disinfectants, uncleanliness, emergency referral etc,.
5. ROGI KALYAN SAMITI (RKS):
Under NRHM, Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) which is another name of Hospital Management Committee or Patient welfare Committee has been formed at Koraput District, Sub division, block level & PHC (N) health Institutions. The above Samiti is registered society and acts by a group of trustees for the hospital to manage the affairs of the hospital. The RKS is doing free prescribe, generate and use its funds for smooth functioning for maintaining the quality of health services. Through Donation, loans from financial institutions, grants from Government RKS funds received.
Rogi Kalyana Samiti formed and registered at DHH and SDH level.
- 14 nos of Rogi Kalyana Samitis have already been formed and registered. An untied fund of Rs.100, 000/-for each Rogi Klayna Samiti is allotted to meet the unmet needs.
- Area Hospitals and PHC (New) Rogi Kalyana Samitis are under process of registration.
- TOT for District level Trainers on operationalisation of Rogi Kalyana Samiti organized.5 nos trainers of 4 District i.e. Koraput Nabarangpur,Malkanigiri and Rayagada were trained on the concept of Rogi Kalyana Samiti.
- RKS Members such as Block Chairman,BDO RWSS, JE and MO I/C were Orientated on RKS concept.
. Observation of Designated Days:
- International Women Day: Organized by MNGO and WCD department. Discussion on Maternal Benefits provided by NRHM World Health Day. Technical input by DPM.
- World Health Day: Organized by ZSSS Koraput and MNGO SOVA. Dissemination of Health Messages by Display Board Banners.A public meeting organized with SHG members District Level Govt.Officials and District level Developmental Partners.8 nos of ASHAs presented their role and what they supposed to do.
- Safe Mothers Hood Day:Mothers meeting in three focus village of Jeypore Block i.e Phampuni, Kaliagaon and Anta.Distribution of prizes to mothers. Discussion on 5 clean.
AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidhha & Homeopathy):
To strengthen the Public Health system at all levels AYUSH has introduced.
8. VILLAGE HEALTH & SANITATION COMMITTEE (VHSC):
The VHSC, Koraput is enhance community participation in planning and implementation of health and health related activities at village level, to create awareness on maternal and child health services, family planning services, safe and healthy sanitary practices etc,. and working for adequate awareness about the services under various disease control programme (i.e Leprosy, Malaria, T.B, Blindness control etc,.)
. IEC Activities from NRHM:
In this occasion Zilla Swasthya Seva samiti booked a stall at PARAB ground. In this stall we produce so many health related IEC activities. Primary we focus on RNTCP & JSY. After then we focus on Immunization, MDA, Malaria, Leprosy etc. In this time we distribute many health related leaflet & Calendar. Beside this we sensitize more than 10,000 audience in this occasion. We divided the whole day in 3 shifts ( Morning, afternoon , evening). For facilitating the health matter we deputed some health worker. Beside the health worker Communication Facilitator, DyMEIO , DPHN was also facilitate in the stall. For better gathering we arrange an open Quiz competition in which we ask many health related question & set a weighing machine there. Over all it set a good impact |
